  • Year-End Checklist

    • Reconcile General Ledger Accounts : Reconcile the various general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and avoid any year-end errors.
    • Verification of Salaries and Benefits : Ensure that all salaries, benefits, and deductions (such as EI and RRSP contributions) are correctly recorded and reported.
    • T4 and T4A Slips : Prepare T4 slips for employees and T4A slips for contractors. Check that employee information (name, social insurance number, address) is up to date.
    • Review Accruals : Adjust accruals, such as supplier invoices related to the payroll department.
